Bug found in the latest update on kontalk

Expected behavior

I was expecting kontalk to open a chat with ease after I updated it to the latest android version but unfortunately this app is crashing again and again.

Actual behavior

When I updated this app I opened it and tried to open a chat to send a message. When I clicked on the chat it crashed down again and again which I've shown below by recording the bug.

How to reproduce

You will see this bug when you:

  1. Update the app to the latest version.
  2. Open the app
  3. Try to open a chat. It will crash again and again.
  • Browser: Kontalk Messenger
  • Operating system: Android Nought(7)
    Moto g5 plus
