Empty Dialog Window Appears with Non-Functional Buttons when Tapping + Icon

Expected Behavior

User is taken directly to the App list when Tapping the + icon in the lower right.

Actual Behavior

An empty dialog window with non-working buttons appears briefly when Tapping the + icon in the lower right before being taken to the App list.

How to Reproduce

  1. Launch Simpler App Launcher 3.1.1 on Android 8.1.0
  2. Tap the + icon in lower right
Device: Pixel 2 XL
OS: Android 8.1.0
App Version: 3.1.1

      I have to point out though, that according to our updated Utopian Rules, this kind of contribution will be rejected from now on.

      • Cosmetic issues, that do not affect the functionality of the software, will not be accepted.

      Everything works fine but the dialog window opens before the content has been loaded, which is more a cosmetic issue. It could be solved by either loading the content first or adding a loading animation. This could be a Suggestion contribution but it doesn't meet the new rules for Bug Hunting.

      However, your contribution is reviewed based on the old rules because it was made before the new rules have taken effect.
