Details

The document in this work was made in order to add more information to the project and also helping the users get answers to their questions.
It contained a write up with the FAQ (frequently asked questions) which I provided. More details about my copywrite shall be discussed in the components section.

About KeePass DX

It's an open-source project which provides the services of being an Android password manager.
It helps keeps your passwords safe in a secure way by integrating with the Android design standards.

Features

• It allows users to create database files / entries and groups.
• It Supports .kdb and .kdbx files (version 1 to 4) with AES - Twofish - ChaCha20 - Argon2 algorithm
• It is compatible with the majority of alternative programs (KeePass, KeePassX, KeePass XC...)
• It now supports Fingerprint for fast unlocking
• It allows Material design with themes

Components

My work contains a write up which provides all the frequently asked questions which users have for the PO.
The document contains answers to the questions too.
I found out the application has no FAQ so I decided to write up one for them.
I created a pull request on the Projects github.
And in the pull request was the FAQ check links below to view the pull request and approved merge.

Benefits / Improvements

• With a FAQ on the application it will enlighten users and draw more users, encouraging them to use the application more.
• It would help solve some issues and answer some questions users come across.
• It would go a long way as to make the application more user friendly.

WHAT IS KEEPASS DX?

• KeePass DX is an Android password manager implemented from Keepass password manager.

WHAT MAKES KEEPASS DX STAND OUT FROM OTHER PASSWORD MANAGERS?

• We do not recover your sensitive data on a private server, you have control of your passwords
• The code is open source, which implies increased security, you can check how the encryption algorithms are implemented
• We respect KeePass file standards to maintain compatibility and data porting on different devices
• We remain attentive to your needs and we can even integrate the features that you have defined

HOW AM I SURE MY PASSWORDS ARE SAFELY STORED ON THE APPLICATION?

• We have integrated a security option of fingerprint for android devices that support fingerprint so no one can access the application without scanning his/her fingerprint.
• We allow users to save and use passwords, keys and digital identities in a secure way by integrating the Android design standards.

CAN I STORE MY DATA ON A CLOUD STORAGE?

• Yes this is very possible.

CAN I RECOVER MY PASSWORD ON ANOTHER DEVICE IF I LOOSE MY DEVICE?

• Yes you can. We recommend you save your data on a cloud storage so Incase you loose your android device you could retrieve the data and import it into the new KeePass DX installed on the new android device.

Additional information

Here is the Pull request and on the pull request the project owner confirmed merging it to FAQ Branch of his on the project.
On the pull request I followed all the Project Owner request and changes he asked for and he finally merged it to FAQ Branch of his on the project and it would be added to the master branch in the next updates he stated but he has merged it to a branch which I dropped the link above.
