If you come to visit Goa-India, you must definitely come to see the spice plantation in Goa. It's a tourist spot and also famous amongst locals. It's a privately owned farm and is huge!

Why go there:

The place consists of different spices tour. A tour guide will be with you the whole time till you finish the trip. They will guide you through the farm. Also if you know the spices but haven't seen them, surely visit it.

How to go?

It's simple and easy. You can access the road and reach the destination within 1 hour unless there's no heavy traffic. There are flyovers being constructed along the road and this causes a lot of traffic.

When you get there, you have to book a tour. The cost is less than $7 and it consists of free meal aswell. Once done with the guide you can relax and have your lunch or you can go for an elephant ride.

Timings:

The location is open from 10 am to 4pm and is open 7 days a week.

Things to note:

• There's hardly any parking space available. If you are not early then you have to parking opportunity.
• The food is a all you can eat buffet.
• It's anywhere between 10 to 50 kilometers depending on the hotel or your location.
