Some of the differences you can expect.

Outdoorsy has a nice interface that is well laid out with style, easy to follow along with great prompts that make the sign up smooth. Additionally Outdoorsy allows add on's for comfort and luxury. The add on feature is a win for everyone because it saves renters from having to pack some bulky items they may need for their excursion, such as an extra tent, a cooler or a grill. Also adding add on items is an excellent way to increase revenue. I also feel that offering them is a very hospitable touch that saves people hassle of hauling when they are likely already hauling luggage. Being able to add the fee for larger items or equipment usage on outdoorsy is great for item that will be depreciating with use.

The site is incorporating a new beta addition that is called instant match. The instant match allows for users who are looking for an RV to make open requests with their dates and desired criteria. They have a little developing left to do, and it has promising potential. The instant match beta feature allows renters to post their travel dates and allow an owner that considers a them a match rather than make requests. Additionally owners can also increase their bookings by being proactive searching for interested renters.

RV Share does have an easy guided listing prompts. Very clean organized lay out. You can expect much little less prompting on features that are appealing to guests, so you will want to already have prepared them. Your summary will want to include all the in's and outs regarding the highlights of your RV, any sort of additional offerings provided such as; linen, towels, games ext. RV Share does not have add on buttons that permits adding on various larger items at an additional fee. If you have add on items that are additional rental fees be transparent about it in your summary.

Both sites offer insurance coverage that is free of charge to the Owner. You will need your VIN, Outdoorsy requires you to apply & asks for your VIN at that time. RV Share signs you up as part of the listing prompts and allows you to enter your VIN before your first rental. You can complete your listing without entering right away on both.

Both websites encourage telling a story with your pictures, you want clear pictures of a clean comfortable space. Open the windows to gain natural light, turn on the lights making the space as bright as you can. Maximizing brightness and capturing from a high angle is appealing and makes the most of your space. User's want to see what they are getting in action. I mentioned a local lake we like to stay at. Suggesting some place of interest might resonate increasing your chances of capturing the renters attention. Also posting pictures of the RV on the lake and at various places we have gone.

Looking forward to seeing which site gets more traction. Hopefully I included enough key words to keep our listing towards top shuffle of results.

Good luck if you're on your way to listing or to rent an RV for a trip! It truly is a wonderful way to travel at your own pace and really take the time to stop and explore.

RVs are cool. I like a double wide.

I saw a temporary housing unit the other day! It had two bathrooms!
