Hey what’s up internet people? It’s Wednesday night, which is kind of weird but we’ll just run with it. I’m writing on Wednesday due to a scheduling conflict, which is just part of 9 to 5 life, yo. And of course, the hardest part of being a writer is figuring out what to write about. Now it’s only been 3 days since my last post, so what am I going to write about now? Well I guess there’s only one way to find out…
So apparently, last I checked, there’s two COVID vaccines out now. Great. This shit was complicated enough without having to look at a menu. I hope it comes out that one of the companies supports Trump. That way I’ll know to take the other one. Not that I’m rushing out to get one, are you? Nah, it’s like a new game system or a phone. You don’t rush right out and get a PS5. YOu wait a few months while all the other idiots overpay for the defective ones that got rushed to the market. Also, apparently you still need to wear a mask if you have a vaccine? And I’m just wondering what the point is of getting a vaccine if I can still spread the virus? I was never worried about catching it, I was just worried about spreading it. Well I guess there in short supply anyway and healthcare workers are the first priority. So if there are any adverse effects, we’ll see them in healthcare workers first. That should be interesting.
And then there’s Trump, who still insists that he’s still the President and has several million idiots believing him. Nobody in his administration, of course, and certainly nobody on the Supreme Court. Basically all the people that people swore were going to fight for Trump stay in power are turning on him. Of course they are, he can’t do anything for them now. The die hards, of course, are still behind him. A lot of these people like to fly confederate flags, so you know they have no idea when they’ve lost. Robert E. Lee knew when he lost though. If people are going to support a lost cause, they should probably take a cue from it’s leader. And then find a new flag. I recommend a black one.
I saw earlier today that Representative Tulsi Gabbard is now co-sponsoring a bill to repeal the USAPATRIOT act. So I’m sure we’ll be hearing a lot more about how anti-gay she is.. Isn’t it weird how anyone who’s anti-war or anti-surveillance is a homophobe? Or a racist? Or a Russian spy? That’s just so weird how that works out. Remember when anti-war was the default Democrat position? Now you can either be pro infinite war, pro police state, pro surveillance state or a homophobe. In fact, as long as you are all of those things, you can even be a homopobe, and a racist, and a mysoginist with credible sexual assault accusations against you and they’ll brush all of that off to make you President. As I understand it, Tulsi Gabbard has apologized for her past anti-gay views. Has Joe Biden apologized for the crime bill? The Patriot Act? The fucking Iraq war? Of course not. He works for the CIA now. He don’t have to apologize for shit!
Anyway, I don’t know what else to write about tonight. The world is a mess and it’s only getting messier. But at least capitalism gives us lots of shiny toys to distract usf Probably made lockdown a lot easier to accept for most people. They just wanted to stay home and watch Netflix anyway. So do whatever it is you can do, and then say “fuck it”, before it fucks you.
