The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) in the USA has paid out over 3 billion dollars since it was founded in 1986 to those who were able to prove a connection between a vaccine and an injury or death that follows. Vaccine manufacturers do not deny that these injuries exist, nor does the government. Vaccines are recognised by law as "unavoidably unsafe" meaning that there ARE risks including injury or death. These cases are said to be rare but the official government data does not deny vaccine risks like some of the general public do. It seems that the general public have greater faith in vaccines than the government or manufactures who provide info sheets with vaccines listing possible side effects and "rare" severe injuries.
