Yes, we can be healthy and still enjoy treats.
Once you see the ingredient list you will understand why I say/write so highly about this heavenly treat.
Super duper healthy, plant-based, gluten/egg-free. It is still a brownie though - perfectly gooey, rich, heavenly chocolatie and good4U. You can have these in an hour right there in your kitchen.
Here is what we need to make these love bombs:
Dry Ingredients:
1 cup good flour - rice/buckwheat/millet/spelt (if you dont mind gluten, I personally like organic spelt flour)
1/2 cup unrefined cacao powder. I do not use commercial brands because of child slavery, I buy raw or unrefined cacao powder from smaller companies with integrity out of love to the Earth.
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup chopped nuts, walnuts/almonds/macadamias ( I used for this recipe, they grow in the country where I chose to live)
1/2 t Celtic Salt
2 t baking powder
1/2 cup of vegan chocolate chip OR just pieces of raw chocolate that you made before.
Wet ingredients:
1/2 cup grated raw beetroot*
1 T ground flax seeds soaked in 1/4 cup water
1 cup nut milk: almond/coconut/pistachio, etc
3 T good nut butter OR raw coconut oil
1/2 cup maple/coconut syrup (use more if you are serious sweet lover) **
1/2 t vanilla (always choose Madagascar one, it is the best there is)
1 T Apple Cider Vinegar
How To:
Preheat oven to 350 F/180 C
Start with wet ingredients. Pour ACV into the milk, mix and add all the other ingredients. Nice purple color, hey!!!
In a separate bowl combine all dry ingredients and mix with wet ones.
Line up the baking tray/pan with parchment paper.
Pour the brownie mixture in. Bake 40 minutes.
Please allow your treat to cool down for minimum 20 mins before you cut it into a squares.
Sprinkle with cacao powder and grated/chopped nuts for more seductive look.
Food artist tips:
- you can replace grated beet with zucchini, works as well
** feel free to replace the syrup with a 4-5 medjool dates.
Enjoy!
Be well, stay healthy and spread good vibes.

yes, love, I did. I like it. From my experience there was not much difference in the texture whether we use beet or zucchini, they serve as a nice binder in baking, adding flax seeds does make a difference though.
