Homemade Bliss Butter aka CannaButter. Easy recipe

This is a truly easy-to-follow recipe that anyone can perform. No special equipment or solvents are needed.

All it takes is - a little time investment, some mindfulness and two products - coconut oil and a high quality marijuana buds. Some people use a common butter (instead of oil), claiming that special enzymes in the dairy make cannabutter more potent. I am a Nature advocate and a strong believer of plant-based eating, so I feel better using just plants and love in the recipes that I create. I will leave your own choices to you, my friend, knowing in my heart that we are all on our paths and we all have our own INNER GUIDANCE that we can trust.

The bliss butter tastes really pleasant, it seems to be good for our nervous system - insomnia, restlessness, tendency to overreact, anxiety, all these symptoms usually come from our fragmentation and negative programming that we all have been subjected to and t is comforting to know that we can address our personal dis-harmonies with the power of our intention and help from the plants.

If you happen to have access to a good medicine flower (as I call it), give this recipe a chance and make your own medicine.
If nothing else - it just makes you feel good, and that is enough. I use it in my Magic Chocolates that everyone seems to love. if you remember, cacao is my other favorite plant. My friends use this butter in brownies and bliss energy balls, no limit here, really.

What is important to understand is that we have our own self-harmonizing, self-healing mechanism installed within our own system, our body is a sophisticated piece of machinery that has all it needs to maintain itself in a perfect state of well-being, what plants do for us is - enhance those powers. Plants strengthen out connection to Nature an that is where we get all that we lost and forgot about.

This is important to understand so we stop giving our power away to anything or anyone.
So, remember - You are the one who holds the power here.

Take a breath.
Set an intention and proceed with awareness.

The following recipe measures will produce around 15 tea spoons of pure bliss butter that keeps better refrigerated, not to mention the fact that it gets more potent after being refrigerated.
Anything from half a tea spoon to full tea spoon has a gentle soothing effect.
Let us keep in mind that more is not always better, creating a harmonious relations with a plant takes awareness and willingness to self-research. When we want to find the dosage that feels best to us, we take it slowly, one experimental dosage at a time, taking time to observe our response and the unique dance that we all have with plants. I am sure you got this.

We need:

7g (0,25 ounce) GOOD QUALITY BUDS
1/2 cup COCONUT OIL
blender
cast iron or any other good cooking pan-pot (no Teflon)
wooden spoon

How to:

Combine the buds with oil and blend for a few moments. You will have this nice green herby oil. My blender did not do a good job with this small amount, so do not let the following image confuse you.
Pour it into the cooking pot, making sure all that herbal goodness is out of the blender.
Use low fire only. I am going to write it again - low fire ONLY.
Your butter needs to bubble, not boil.

Stay present and mindful of the great process taking place. There is something very empowering about making your own medicine, in being your own doctor.
Keep stirring those happy bubbles again & again until the herbal oil tells you that it is done.

I know it might sound like a strange instruction, but here is the thing - everything speaks to us at all times, we just need to get out of our lovely noisy heads and tune into the bigger picture/Universe/mystery/whatever word you like.
.... So, the color and the scent of the herbal mix will change right in front of your eyes (and your nose). If you stay mindful and present - you will get this right.

In case I lost you on the last few sentences -
The color of your bliss butter will turn chocolatie brown and the scent will go through stages until it hits this point when it smells burnt.

It took me 17 mins to get done with this process, but - as someone who creates all sorts of food & plant concoctions for decades in all kinds of surrounding- I know that time can vary - what kind of pot we use, whether we cook on gas or electric stove, the quality of the coconut oil - all these factors play a role in the process. I am sure you will figure this out.

Once your formula is slow-cooked, let it cool down and strain it through a clean cotton cloth. Squeeze all the herby goodness out of it into a nice sealable glass jar and refrigerate for at least a few hours before you have your first taste of bliss.
