World Vegan Day is an annual event celebrated by vegans around the world every 1 November. The benefits of veganism for humans, non-human animals and the natural environment are celebrated through activities such as setting up stalls, hosting potlucks and planting memorial trees. - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Vegan_Day
The World Vegan Day is completing a month of Vegetarian Awareness Month which started on 1 October - in the World Vegetarian Day.
With the deepest respect I relate to other people's food preferences.
I still think that veganism is a lifestyle (And I totally agree with @krnel in comment!!!). I admit, I tried to be a vegetarian, but I did not succeed. Probably not yet time)))
It's not simply a "lifestyle", in so much as being against human slavery would simply be a "lifestyle" compared to those that support it. Please look into the actual definition of the word. Peace.
