A Vegan Future

A ninety kilometer drive turned into a ten hour fiasco and we are here in Arenal, Costa Rica. The Arenal Volcano is just one of two volcanos nestled in the mountains nearby where I'm staying. On the way from San Jose, Costa Rica to Arenal I witnessed something astounding. Whipping through the hills there was a veg restaurant that had at the minimum fifteen billboards on the road starting about 5 miles away. No, I didn't stop to eat as I have been stuffed full of fruit every second since landing in the la Pura Vida, but it made my heart swell. I stopped to think about how much more veganized the world is just a short 4 years after I went vegan myself. Light will always overtake darkness.

A girl I met once told me: "I do miss nice milky vanilla ice-creams. But when it comes to the future of our planet, veganism is a no brainer...."
I had nothing to add to this.

Great to hear about the vegan movement in Costa Rica. Keep up the good work getting the word out.
