hello, we are experimenting with vegan burguers at home and want to share our recipe.
Ingredients:
-Bulgur - boiled
- Chickpeas - boiled
- Spinachs - boiled
- Carrots, onion and garlic - fried
- Macadamia nuts - cuts in small pieces -
- Cheese ( for non vegan option)
- Fried egg ( for non vegan option)
We have boiled the bulgur, we bought the chickpeas boiled and have boiled the spinach.
Meanwile we fry the carrots, onion and garlic.
We slice the macadamia nuts.
Then we rinse good the water out of the boiled elements, the more you rinse the better.
And we mix all in a bowl and start to press and squeeze it with the hand for a while. It needs to be all a well mixed paste.
After 10 minutes we prepare portions and we fry each portion for 2-4 minutes.
Then we prepare the Burger as usual, adding also tomato. For non strictly vegan option we add cheese and egg.
