Chuck Wood, the ground hog has missed the last two ground hog days and the opportunity to see his shadow. Although there were many foraging opportunities, apparently the grass looked greener on the other side of my fence! The vegetables growing attracted him, and he got the attention of the ever vigilant miniature pinschers! I attempted to rescue him, but the min pins with thousands of years of canine DNA would not allow it. They were a team, keeping Chuck Wood on his back so they could manage to take care of his intrusion.
