One of the things that prompted me to be vegan is the love I have for animals, in fact my pet is a dog.
Many times it is thought that people who defend animals, are sentimental and baseless people who defend their kittens and puppies and do not think about human suffering.
The defense of animals is based on a principle of tolerance and respect for human and non-human life.

In the case of Animal Mistreatment it is even more delicate because animals can not express themselves in a way that is understandable to humans, they do not have a voice, so it is necessary to interpret their suffering and protect them. To be the voice of the voiceless. Some people state that an animal should not have rights since it has no use of reason and therefore can not defend them.
Remember
- Animals are living beings, who feel cold, hunger, thirst, anger, grief, joys, but above all, PAIN. Therefore if you abandon your pet that you committed to be responsible, you are also committing a crime
- We avoid causing damage to those who do not have the voice to defend themselves.
- Let's take care of them and respect them as such, they deserve their space, our love and above all our attention.
Vegan Philosophy
"My experiences led me to want to dedicate my life to getting justice for the oppressed. I soon realized that the most oppressed beings on earth are animals, and among them the most numerous and most oppressed are the animals used on farms. "~ Alex Hershaft
During these last years, since I became a vegan, many people have been surprised by my moral concern for animals that are not human.
Some have warned me that, according to their point of view, there were more important problems in the world than the way we treat other animals. Problems such as abortion, hunger, poverty, wars, sexist violence, would be, in his opinion, more important than worrying about the relationship that human beings have with nonhuman animals.
In response to these objections, in this note today I would like to briefly point out some reasons why the specific defense of the rights of non-human animals as activism seems important and priority to me.
First; other animals can not defend themselves. One obvious difficulty that non-human animals have in defending their interests is that they can not be organized to deal with the abuses that are committed against them. They can not demonstrate, or make social pressure, or boycott companies, or give educational talks, or perform acts on the street. In short, everything we can do to try to protect our own interests.
That is to say, the nonhuman animals turn out to be the most defenseless victims before the power of the human being. They can not respond in any way to the violence we commit against them. They can not report it to the authorities or the media. The non-humans exploited by man can not raise their voices against their slavery. In addition to the fact that legal laws do not protect the rights of nonhuman animals, since they are subject to the legal status of human property - and are treated literally as slaves to humans - they do not possess the ability to rebel in an organized manner.
Respecting other animals is compatible with any other social struggle in which we want to be involved.
We can all respect animals because we can all be vegans. Spreading veganism is the most fundamental and important form of activism for animals. But at the same time that we are vegans we can also collaborate to help disadvantaged human groups. What is relevant is not the species; What is relevant is that there are individuals who are victims of injustice and need our help.
That's look like real spirit about "humanity even on animals" great topic.
