UNLV Recreation and Wellness Center is the way to go!

where I wanted to go to unlv , but my taxi driver recommended another place, BIG MISTAKE!!
I should have gone to unlv the first time around, they have a HUGE gym, in the third floor there are 4 fullcourts with 8 basketball hoops. Its really clean and good quality hoops, free water.
There were also like 20 people over the 8 hoops and a pickup game evolved. I dont want to comment on the strength of the play, since I dont know whats standard in those gyms (since Im from austria). But there was definitly some seriousish play going on and the level of play was higher than what you would find on a german streetball court.
There is a day pass for 10$ or a montly membership for 25$, which is INSANLY CHEAP for what is offered there, I cant believe that. In Austria im in the cheapest possible gym, that costs 35$ a month and there is nothing really in there, you can run, you can lift, thats it.
We dont even have gyms like the UNLV one, I did not see everything, but they also have swimming, soccer, volleyball looked huge.
This would have the MUCH better choice to go play basketball than where I went last time. Also I think the best place to play basketball in a non organized form I have ever been too!
