Hello friends,
Here is a beautiful timelapse of the moon created on the night of the full lunar eclipse. We can see different phases of lunar eclipse in this video while the moon is gliding slowly towards the end of the frame. The lunar eclipse occurs on full moon night when the earth comes in between the sun and the moon. The eclipse lasts till the time earth moves away and unblocks the path of light falling on the moon from the sun.
Technical details to shoot a timelapse:
We need to set time interval of each photograph depending upon the duration of timelapse that we want to create. In this video, I had set time interval of 3 seconds. The other thing to consider while selecting time interval is also the movement of the subject. If the subject is moving too fast then we need to reduce the time interval and vice versa.
The next thing to consider while shooting a timelapse is the shutter speed. As we need to have a tripod for shooting time-lapse hence we can take long exposure shots to meet our needs. In this case, the shutter speed was set to 2 seconds to get a properly exposed photo as the light was very less at that place.
The tutorial for basics of photography will be covered in next video. Stay tuned.
