A video I did where a couple of well respected Preppers that I personally admire too, were interviewed for a piece on the BBC website.
I talk about the things which are wrongly said about Preppers and the incorrect labels we are given in order to marginalise us into a category or categories which ultimately suggest to those that take in and believe these mainstream opinions that people who prep are suffering from some sort of mental illness, are generally unstable and lone wolf's that selfishly horde food and drinks and weapons and ammunition and are outcast to society.
Of course none of the above is true, in fact the best qualities I have myself and discovered which is common amongst all Preppers I know and follow is that we are collectively of sound analytical and independent mind. A strong indication and sign of mental strength and health. We are grounded and more stable and content as we strive to improve our lives by focusing on the basic things in life, which inevitably help us to be more physically and mentally stable and resistant to stress. Getting back to nature for example.
We actively seek out communities whether face to face or online and actively interact with others to promote and share knowledge for the benefit of all. We also train to not only help ourselves but those immediately we care about and those we pass in the street and seek out and actively help in our communities.
Speaking to the mainstream media is a bad idea, no matter how well you put your point across they will either edit the commentary and insert their own spin on it with their own commentary instead or only show the equipment, tools and other things you may have in order to show that Preppers are nothing but a gang of lone wolf's armed to the teeth with knives, hatchets and guns.
The two gentlemen in this article however did a very good job at representing the prepper community as they always have done and they gave the BBC a run for their agenda which hats off to them for that. But I'd advise just not speaking to any mainstream corporation for a pre-recorded show. Live shows are a different matter because it's harder for them to control your commentary and alternative and small independent media outlets would be more open to the views you'll put across.
Thanks for watching

Grey Man all the way for me. I wouldn't go near a media interview.

Thanks man, appreciate it. They still vilify Preppers. Which is hypocritical seeing as governments have agencies that tell people to prep for emergencies and supply lists for what each household should have minimum of.

Well their intentions are not honest and they won't promote much we are doing as a positive thing, that's for sure. Be safe and prepared man.

Thank you I wouldn't say I am a prepper But I am no longer very dependent on society for anything. I can feed myself with out going to the store ;-)
