Review: Bright, A NetFlix Film.

I just finished watching the New NetFlix Movie, Bright. I went in with no expectations, and came out the other side pleasantly surprised.

The premise of the film is Magic is real and there quite a few different races of beings in this world, all hunting for a special something. And people are willing to die to get this special something. If you saw the trailer, then you know what that is. The film is set in L.A., everyone and everything gets into the action. And if you've ever been to L.A., you know how it can be at times.

Will Smith plays a cop, along with his partner, which happens to be an Orc. And we got fairies, elves and more in this one too. Everyone is out to kill these two cops, and most of L.A. is on their heels the whole time. They pick up a few items along the way, on their journey to get out alive.

I won't give too much away here, but the action is on time and a lot folks get smoked in a big way. The cool part is that they didn't over do it with the Magic. And there is a bit of comedy that isn't over the top, just enough in the right places. And did I mention, that these Elves, can really kick some ass? Oh yeah!

So if you like action, some suspense and a bit of humor mixed in, take the ride!

Will Smith still has a bit of life left in him I think, and he did quite well in this. The film also stars Joel Edgerton, Noomi Rapace, Edgar Ramirez, Jay Hernandez.

The IMDB rating is at 6.7 out of 10.

My Rating: 4 out of 5
Will I watch it again: Yes

Enjoy!

I have to give it 4.5 of 5. Maybe even 5 of 5 I don't know, it felt like the right new age fit of "Training Day"

Right, I can see that, kinda reminds of Training Day now that ya mention it. Glad you dig it, thanks for takin a peek. :-)
