"What's the big deal!" I thought. "What difference does it make!" It wasn't until my son showed me the very entertaining video below that I realized that I had been suffering all along with Vertical Video Syndrome!
Now whenever I see someone shooting video in vertical, or worse, I'm subjected to watching a vertical video I cringe! It's so annoying!
Watching vertical videos is like wearing blinders!
Just The Other Day I Suffered The Effects of a Video Shot in Vertical!
The other day I asked one of my employees to film a potential customer's work premises so that I could use it to do a quote. He sent me the video and when I opened it, it was like trying to look at their office with blinders on. "I was trying to do a quote! Not enter a horse race!"
His filming was next to useless but was it really his fault? He just didn't know any better and that's why the video below is so important!

I just found that horses should watch videos vertically
I'm not sure shooting in portrait mode is a bad thing, you just miss out 60% of the screen
