Introducing DTube: a decentralized video platform using STEEM and IPFS

I'm a bit skiddish about logging in with my credentials to this new site. I guess I will wait a little bit before hopping on the bandwagon.

PS I greatly loathe the payout for content for the creator ending after any given limited time, which in your case is 7 days. If the content is permanent then so should the compensation toward the creators not just the storage masters.

DTube only asks for your posting key. So let's say I'm hackerman and want to steal your coins, I can't. All I would be able to do is upvote myself, and apparently I don't need that, everybody already upvoted me :DD

I agree with the 7 days payment window, it is bad but it is a STEEM constraint

Thanks for clearing that up, and yeah 7 days is pitiful for a video. There are numerous videos on youtube that sit for many months with next to no views then all of a sudden go viral. It would be a shame to see one of your videos make no money for seven days only to watch it go viral on the 8th lmao such cruelty :P
