What is faster? Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro?
Let's have a look at HACKINTOSH ( Dell Vostro 430 ) that we Video Benchmarked with Final Cut Pro 10.2 and Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015. The results were a surprise to us too.
Final Cut Pro 10.2:
1080p sample rendered in - 12min 08s
4K sample rendered in - 32min 31s
Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 on OS X Yosemite:
1080p sample rendered in - 11min 10s
4K sample rendered in - 28min 37s
Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 on Windows 7 64bit:
1080p sample rendered in - 6min 18s
4K sample rendered in - 16min 16s
This computer is based on Dell Vostro 430, meaning it uses it's motherboard and the CPU. The other components were upgrades. For examp. dedicated graphics card and SSD were put in to increase performance of the original.

Mother Board: Dell 054km3
CPU: Intel Core i5-650 Processor (4M Cache, 3.20 GHz) - 2 cores
RAM: 7GB of ram (1333 MHz)
HDD: 240 GB SSD - The Other world computing, 250 GB 7200rpm WD
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6670 - 480 processing cores
