Sun Yuchen is a liar, thief, charlatan, and all around cunt. But I don't need to tell you that. Find me at Hive, where we are glad to be rid of him and all of his fake followers, sockpuppets, and thieves.

Until I started "The Great War", WW1 did not hold too much meaning. For those who are not familiar with the great war, I recommend watching this series. Well done and worth your time. A great learning experience and a realization of the horrible, horrible things that went on during that conflict (and that does not include the miserable incompetence of the so-called "leaders" and pompous military men of the time.

"The Great War" ... =/ Such propaganda.

I mean, I like War sim games and all, but I can't stand how "they" glorify war in the media. War is horrific!

None of us would ever want to be in a war, at least the sane among us. To seemingly glorify it with "great", despite the various meanings of the word, I truly believe "they" use it (subliminally) in this way to glorify war, not to express its size or intensity.

Disclaimer: I'm suspicious by nature of any act performed by anyone claiming to be in charge of others, be it war, laws, information or otherwise. ;)

If you watch the show it does nothing to glorify war. Quite the opposite. "The Great War" is how it was referred to before World War II. I think they picked the name because it is historical and is snappier than "The World War 1 week in review" or something :P
