Huobi is going to organize, along with Kyber Network, what is expected to be the biggest and more important Blockchain event ever held in Vietnam (slides available in vietnamise and on-site translator), on the 24-25th May 2018. The Festival will host more than 30 speakers who will share their in-depth knowledge of blockchain technology progress.
Jeffrey Wernick has been involved in the Bitcoin world since 2009 and He is also an angel investor who invested in Uber & Airbnb early on. Since October 2017 He is a member of QTUM advisory board.
QTUM co-founder Patrick Dai has stated: “His background in trading, quantitative research, and venture investment gives him unmatched insights.”
J. Wernick is also highly experienced in investing in distressed and bankrupt companies, as well as in other domestic and international investment opportunities, including seed capital, angel investing, venture capital, real estate, currencies, commodities, mining, all forms of derivatives and structured financial products, sharing economy, lending platforms, Blockchain Technology, biomedical, human genome project and payment systems.
Given his invaluable expertise in startups and funding J. Wernick will focus his speech on how to find value in the Blockchain industry and where VCs will invest in 2018.
The list of Keynote speakers comprehends David Nguyen who is the current President of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and Vice President of Vietnamese Association in Singapore. Dr David is also a mentor to more than 120 Vietnamese SMEs and startups, helping them expand through the global market.
Being Kyber Network the co-organizer of the event, Loi Luu (Kyber CEO) will attend the Festival as one of the keynote speakers. Vitalik Buterin figures among the advisors of Kyber.
Also, several Huobi senior executives figure among the VIP speakers.

The first day of the Blockchain Festival is going to be the “Day of Technology”. In the first part of the morning the speakers will be covering topics related to the global blockchain industry development and the interest of VCs for this new industry. The second part of the day will be dedicated to discuss public chains and the last developments of Ethereum (Casper, Sharding & Plasma), EOS (Dawn 3.0’s impact) and others.
