I've been having some mental problems created by a past relationship lately and one of the only ways that I can find self therapy for this without consuming vast quantities of alcohol and therefore making the next day even worse, is to go on these long walks where I have no destination in mind. I'm just walking and clearing my head and it is pretty good for me. It helps me a lot. I also encounter things while I am doing this that I probably wouldn't have noticed otherwise and take photos of them.

Everyone all around these parts complain about construction just being a part of the landscape and how it is everywhere destroying the peace. Especially in the area that I live it is just about everywhere you look. You can't walk a single block without encountering a bunch of noise and debris all over the place. Down on the beach area where I and many others walk is a popular area that is almost completely filled with hotels. But there are exceptions such as this monstrosity.
This building has looked the same ever since I moved here years ago and I can only conclude that the people who were building it simply walked away. This is such an eyesore on the surrounding area and I don't know what compels people to finish half of something that then just bugger off on it.

You can see there are already massive hotels all around it and two things to take to mind here: One, what compels these investors to build essentially the same business that already exists next door when the business next door and all of the other ones on the beach are operating at half capacity already? The second thing is that this small business on the ground to the right of the unfinished structure should be very worried about their future. There are very few small business plots that still remain on the waterfront and even though they haven't even finished the one right next to it, it seems to have no bearing on whether or not they go ahead and make essentially the same thing right next door to it.

next up we have something that made me chuckle out loud when I encountered it. They nearly got this one right but this one mistake changes everything. If you've been in Asia for a little while you are very aware of what it is that they are selling at this place but seriously, if you don't read this sign in Mr. T's voice, I pity you. Exfliate doesn't mean anything, fool!
