Hello steemit friends. My name is Vikram Sawant. My friends call me "bapu" because they feel some of my personality character match with Mahatma Gandhi. I am from India, within which I am located in a village situated in Tuljapur taluka of Maharashtra State.
Tuljapur is famous ancient, historical and religious town where lakhs of people and devotees visit anually to offer their prayers to goddess "Tuljabhavani".
It is believed that goddess Tuljabhavani came into dream of brave Maratha king Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and gave him a sword and blessed him for his work of mankind. 
Shivaji Maharaj established the Hindu rule in Maharashtra and introduce the principles of swarajya (self-rule by people). He defeated the unjust rulers of those times and brought happiness among the people of all castes and religion
