The image is a replica of a early 1900 dutch grandfathers clock's weight. The old lady I made it for lost the origanal one.
This is the weight that works the mechanism of the clock.
I made it out of cast iron and had it brass coated. the indents and scratches you see were put there intentionally to give it a bit of used look and to match the second weight that worked the chimes.
The photo was taken by me, in the background you see a sideboard and some pottery also made by myself,that is the pottery, the embroidery on the right was done by my wife.
