Conceptually, the metaverse is a concept that denotes the next generation of the Internet, which describes an immersive and multisensory experience in the applied use of various devices and technological developments on the Internet.
Other conceptual assertions state that the metaverse may not only refer to virtual worlds, but to multidimensional experiences of internet use and application as a whole, especially the combined spectrum of web 3.0, augmented reality, 3D technology and virtual reality.
However, in the current turbulent context of falling prices of most financial instruments, there are companies that are investing millions of dollars buying virtual land in the metaverse.
No doubt as has been reported in countless web news portals, spending millions of dollars to buy a fictitious "land" in a virtual world may sound absurd, but in recent months we have seen significant investments in virtual land within the metaverse.
It is stated that the metaverse will be developed to become a collaborative virtual space where we can socialize, play, work and learn, therefore, it is not ruled out that it will also be used for investment purposes where extraordinary economic gains can be capitalized.
