He looks ready to be made into an action figure, Manthos :).
A cool soldier design, though I do wish to see some hints of colours on him.

Thank you so much my friend! :) I would love to have it 3d printed, in fact! there is a studio I collaborate here in Athens Greece where we actually make 3d designs for 3d prints /bust figurines, and more! perhaps I can pitch it haha! glad you like it and I sincerely appreciate the continuous support, you guys motivate me and help me to keep going for even better stuff!

thank you kindly!

Wow amazing looks like a character that would fit right well into the transformers movie

Thank you so much! :D that would be totally awesome!! maybe someday I get to animate those designs and have my imaginary battle happen! I appreciate the support and comment!

Yes am sure the animation will come out great as the design above 🙂

Love it, @manthos ! So cool ! The flying ribbons make him very glamorous and dramatic <3

Thank you Lise! that was exactly the feeling I was going to! glad it works :)

Oh my goodness- this is amazing! So much depth and detail and I love how you've managed to include the feeling of movement into it! How long did it take you to design and render this character? Truly awesome! I'd love to see a bit of a clip of you working on a design like this!

Hi Ex! Thank you so much for your comment , kind words and support! I am really sorry that there was not a recordings as I was running low on disk space lol but I will make sure to make some on next designs! I took probably around 4-6 hours to create this one by using all the custom brushes that come with gravity and using my knowledge in concept art, I tried to make a convincing stance that is dynamic! as for the rendering, it just took me another couple hours playing with light setup and angle in keyshot! that was the easiest part in fact! Thanks again for the support, really means a lot!

Hey - that's okay, I completely understand that problem!! I really look forward to future ones though - that would be so interesting. That's not as long as I was expecting on such a complex piece- but as you say, you're experienced in concept art and the use of the package. Dynamic! That's the word, thank you... I typed movement as I was searching for the right word... but dynamic is exactly what I meant. E x

I appreciate the understanding and again, the kind support! it what drives us to deliver even better designs in the future! no worries on the words, hehe, and yes! I do love creating some dynamic designs and playing around with the 3d and vr it allows for great experimentation! Thanks again! Manthos

Yes it looks real, like it is ready to come at you any time! What did you use as your base for this model? I'm new to gravity sketch. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much and glad you like it too! I tried to really make it so by using a dynamic pose from start to finish. Sadly there was no video record but next time, I should make some! for the base of model I used any standard brush that comes with gravity and simply drawing an initial "lines sketch" that I used to put another layer above and start blocking it out. So ,basically, first plan the pose and later build upon it on separate layers and then remove the bottom sketch layer and start moving things around to the desired pose! I hope that helps a little bit. And, there was really no other method or special meshes inserted at all but what gravity already provides you with. As for the realism part, thats totally credited to the after rendering I did in keyshot! I set up the proper light and angles and start rendering some tests! I appreciate the support!

When you made this character, what were you thinking they'd be like in the game? personality? abilities? backstory? or were you just creating a cool figure as you go along? I do see the transformer resemblance all over the art. Are you a mecha fan? :D

Wow! @manthos. I have never seen a VR sketch before and this amazes me. The detail alone is simply amazing. I am going to have to do some research into what the whole VR sketch is and see what this is about. This is absolutely amazing!

Very nice work. I can almost image facing off with the beast in a VR battle ground. The shots provided were well planned as well, I especially like the gravity sketch screenshot in the background. I kind of like the full gray model with only shadows for definition...
