Spiritual vision in the Bible: Do you have eyes of flesh? Do you see as a mortal sees? Job 10:4

The book of Job tells us about the tests that an innocent man had to endure to be proven righteous before his creator. We don't know for sure if he was a historical character or not, but what we do know is that the character of the book is a metaphor of the people of Israel. What should a man do when a series of misfortunes are unleashed against him in the face of God's silence? And the answer was given by Job.
Like Job, the people of Israel also had to endure many calamities and adversities, the oppression of the Assyrians and Babylonians for example, but that does not mean that God is indifferent, but as Job explained it, God's designs are unfathomable and man's response to difficulties must be the fear of God (constancy, firmness, devotion) and the fidelity to his law.
In his argument before God and his friends, Zophar, Eliphaz, and Bildad, Job questioned the wisdom and the omnipotence of God:
"Do you have eyes of flesh?
Do you see as a mortal sees?" Job 10:4.
The Bible teaches us that God sees the world in a different way than men; God's vision is a spiritual vision, we have eyes of the flesh, while God has spiritual eyes, God is pure spirit. And Job, with this response to God, sought to provoke a response from God; but God is wise, that is, he is love without passion, that is why God waited for the right moment to respond to Job.
As Job expressed it, this is the great problem of men, we have eyes of flesh and we cannot clearly perceive the spiritual realities, and many times the only thing we have left are the virtues of faith and hope, as happened to Job.
That is why the spiritual path is to seek God so that by his grace and mercy he gives us those eyes that we need to know him clearly, and in this way not live protesting before every problem that comes our way in life. That is why those who truly know the grace of God also know the true meaning of meekness and patience, as taught by the teacher Jesus.
