Interesting article about the levee system in South Louisiana and what the next steps are for it. The amount of money they spent on the levee system is staggering, and the cost isn't over yet, or will ever be over. I remember when a billion was a lot of money, not so anymore. How much would it cost to ask everyone in the area to just leave, abandon it? I'm joking because I love the area, but the money thrown at this shouldn't be unlimited. At some point people have to accept risk for where they live, just saying.
