About the chain: If you go through the Corinth Canal, then you may want to to a stop at the Alimos Marina in Athena. See: Maps
At Pier 6 you'll find a small charter base called "Sailgreece". Link (in maps it's called "Sail Greece Yacht Charters")
Ask there for Giannes or Thomas.

Tell them that I sent you there, Martin Kutt from germany, the one that almost used no fuel when chartering.

Giannes is a nice guy with many contacts all over the aegaen sea. (actually he is a real captain) He has his contacts everywere and can organize quite amazing things, even on smallest islands. Thats why I did charter there for 8 years and never had any problems, even if something did break. This is the only thing I truly regret about getting my own ship - those nice charter trips in greece ...
