Filmed in 2013 in Long An, Vietnam maybe in December during a trip one day to somebody's hometown a dozen miles or so from Saigon. This was a love song I wrote and sang at times during my 5 years teaching English in Vietnam from 2012-2017. I'm Oatmeal Joey Arnold and people would ask me to sing and do crazy stuff. On Facebook groups, like Another side of Vietnam (ASOV), and other groups, expats, foreigners, all kinds of white people, yellow people, black people, brown people, Americans, Asians, Europeans, Africans, Australians, and all kinds of people were talking all kinds of stuff about me and would ban me from Facebook groups and YouTube banned me and Twitter said I was a Russian bot and the whole craziness went on and on.
