MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. Memory- The traumatic events that befell his wife and dog still linger on John Wick's mind.

  2. Commemorate- Independence Day is celebrated on different days by countries across the globe to commemorate the struggles and sacrifice made in the past for liberation and freedom.

  3. Memorandum- A commonly-used approach in peaceful protests is handing over a memorandum containing the aspirations and demands of the protesters to a person holding office.

  4. Memoirs- With the recent passing of Aretha Franklin, many people would be interested to revisit and read her past memoirs.

MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Memory:
    Time passes as our memories fade into the abyss.

  2. Commemorate:
    We'll commemorate our fallen who were taken by the bug lord after we have run our tank through its thorax.

  3. Memorandum:
    I'm going to piss on the memorandum I had to accept from the judge.

  4. Memoirs:
    If I would go back and read my memoirs, I would be reminded of the things I lost, or the regrets, and of love lost on the wings of passion.

  1. If memory serves me correctly, in early January, the market cap for BitCoin alone was more than the entire market cap for cryptocurrency today.

  2. Yesterday, a few co-workers and I visited a funeral home to commemorate the passing of another co-worker's father.

  3. When my wife asks me to pick up a few things from the grocery store, it feels more like a memorandum than a polite request.

  4. I can recall a few years back, my aunt had asked me to commemorate my grand-father's passing by collecting his memoirs from the family and creating a short book from them.
