Hydration keeps your vocal chords thicker throughout the day which is essential for deeper, low pitch voice. Dehydration causes your vocal chords to shrink, leaving them thinner and loose mass. Staying hydrated is essential to keep the depth of your voice at optimum levels .

Maintain monotone voice
Maintain your voice at optimum pitch levels with lesser degree of pitch variation. Monotony is a manly trait that often tricks people to believe that it is deeper voice.
