Front End Work

A few weeks ago before I learned the engine was going to cost too much to repair, I had the front end rebuilt on Oscar. Years of sitting around rotted everything out. The upper ball joints, sway bars and all the bushings were all replaced. The lower ball joints were good so we left them alone. The upper ball joints needed to be tack welded in because it had been replaced 2 times already and the treads were wearing a bit. Better safe than sorry.

The Team

Shop owner Chris and his two employees Liz and Tony have been working on Oscar for years. After a lot of cussing & cursing we are now hitting the home stretch and Oscar should be running by August. I have lived in the parking lot for over a month now and these people have become my family and Sammies Pack. We share a special bond that I will never forget and hope to visit every summer.
