رحلة أسطورية للحضري مع الفراعنة

وقد بدأ الحضري مشواره مع المنتخب المصري الأول، بعد تألقه مع المنتخب الأولمبي، عام 1995، في دورة الألعاب الإفريقية، قبل أن ينتقل للنادي الأهلي، قادما من دمياط، عام 1996.وخاض الحارس أول مباراة دولية، في أبريل/نيسان 1997، أمام ليبيريا، لحساب تصفيات كأس العالم 1998، حيث خسر الفراعنة بهدف من جورج ويا، الذي خدع الحضري بتسديدة في الزاوية الضيقة.

وتواجد الحضري بعد ذلك، في بطولة إفريقيا 1998، حيث كان بديلًا للحارس نادر السيد، قبل أن يحصل على فرصته للمشاركة أساسيا، في كأس القارات، عام 1999، حيث خاض حينها المباريات الثلاث، أمام بوليفيا والمكسيك والسعودية.

وبعدما خسر موقعه كحارس أساسي، لصالح نادر السيد، في نسخة 2000، عاد الحضري ليظهر بمستوى طيب، في بطولة إفريقيا 2002، رغم الخروج من دور الثمانية، على يد الكاميرون.

عودة مذهلة

وغاب الحضري عن بطولة إفريقيا 2004، إلا أنه عاد مجددًا بشكل رائع، في نسخة 2006، حيث ساهم في تتويج الفراعنة، بتصدياته الرائعة، خاصة خلال ضربات الترجيح أمام كوت ديفوار، في النهائي.

وتألق حارس الزمالك السابق بشكل مبهر أيضًا، في بطولة إفريقيا 2008، حيث توج باللقب الثاني على التوالي، بعدما تصدى لكرات صعبة وخطيرة، من نجوم المنتخبات الإفريقية، وعلى رأسهم الإيفواري، ديدييه دروجبا.وقد ظهر الحضري بمستوى رائع أيضًا، في بطولة القارات 2009، لا سيما خلال الفوز على إيطاليا (1-0).

وواصل "السد العالي" تألقه، في بطولة إفريقيا 2010، حيث قاد منتخب مصر للتتويج بلقبه السابع، والثالث على التوالي، بينما أحرز هو كأسه الرابعة.

انتفاضة جديدة

وبعد ذلك، فشلت مصر في التأهل للبطولة القارية، لثلاث نسخ على التوالي، قبل أن تعود لتحرز الوصافة في 2017.

وجاء هذا الإنجاز، بعد مستوى رائع ومفاجئ للحضري، الذي تأهل مع الفراعنة لمونديال 2018، ليصبح أكبر لاعب سنًا، يشارك في كأس العالم، على مدار تاريخ البطولة، بخوضه مباراة السعودية، في الجولة الثالثة لدور المجموعات.

كما أصبح الحضري أكبر حارس، يتصدى لضربة جزاء في المونديال.

ووصل اللاعب الأسطوري، في نهاية مسيرته، إلى 159 مباراة دولية، منها 28 لقاءً في بطولة إفريقيا، وهو رقم قياسي لحارس.

وهذا إلى جانب أنه اللاعب الوحيد، في التاريخ، الذي توج بـ4 ألقاب إفريقية، بالإضافة لمواطنه أحمد حسن.

                        A mythical journey for my civilization with the pharaohs

Al-Hadari started his career with the Egyptian national team after he made his debut with the Olympic team in 1995 at the African Games before moving to Al Ahli club from Damietta in 1996.
In April 1997, he played for Liberia in the World Cup qualifiers, with the Pharaohs losing a goal from George Wia, who dodged Al Hadari with a shot in the narrow corner.

Al-Hadari then played in the 1998 African Championship, where he was a substitute for goalkeeper Nader El Sayed before winning the chance to participate in the Confederations Cup in 1999, where he played three games against Bolivia, Mexico and Saudi Arabia.

After losing his position as a key goalkeeper, in 2000, he returned to a good performance at the 2002 African Cup of Nations despite Cameroon's exit from the quarter-finals.
Amazing return

Urban missed the 2004 African Championships, but he reverted superbly in the 2006 edition, where he contributed to the crown of the Pharaohs, with his outstanding performances, especially during the penalty shootout against Côte d'Ivoire in the final.

The former Zamalek goalkeeper was also dazzling in the 2008 African Championship, where he was crowned the second consecutive title, after tackling hard and dangerous balls, from the stars of the African teams, led by the Ivorian, Didier Drogba.
Urban also showed a remarkable level at the 2009 Confederations Cup, especially during the win over Italy (1-0).

Al Sadd continued to shine at the 2010 African Championship, where he led Egypt to their seventh and third consecutive titles, while Hu won his fourth.

A new uprising

After that, Egypt failed to qualify for the continental championship, for three consecutive copies, before returning to the runner-up in 2017.

This achievement came after a wonderful and surprising level for Al Hadri, who qualified with the Pharaohs for the 2018 World Cup, becoming the oldest player to participate in the World Cup, throughout the history of the tournament, in the Saudi game in the third round of the group stage.

Al-Hadari became the biggest goalkeeper to face a penalty in the World Cup.
At the end of his career, the legendary player reached 159 caps, including 28 at the African Championship, a record for a goalkeeper.

This is in addition to being the only player in history who has been crowned with 4 African titles, in addition to his native Ahmed Hassan.
