I clamor for change
Yet I do not clamor without understanding
The understanding that true change cannot be promised
True change cannot be given
I do not look up to one man to create a change
For these seeds of evil are beyond one man
Seeds planted from the foundation of our civilization
The seeds that made our kings trade men in for pieces of stainless steel
The seeds that prioritize even a broken mirror to the life of a fellow brother
Those seeds are no longer seeds
They are grown
Matured
Made so by the tender loving care of mankind
Each man making decisions based on selfish desires
Carefully watering the seeds of corruption
Who can hope to change the vigor centuries of care and protection has given to this tree in just four years
And who am I to say such a person lies
I can only hope every other person has a change in desire
Only then can we begin to work out our salvation
Never again will I be fooled
No more would I be moved by weightless promises
No man can give me my desired change
Nonetheless I would vote a man that shares my dream
The dream of being a great example
Even to the generation unborn
A man that represents my interests
Even in this dying world
It is not enough to pray for a change
I would be the change I need
I would Vote the change I need
