Ever seen someone skateboard on water?

It's technically called wakeskating, which is done using a slightly curved, oversized skateboard deck with some type of grip tape and no trucks or wheels of course. You wear skate shoes while riding for a little added traction. Guys these days are doing mind-boggling tricks.

I loved going to WakeStock in Canada back in the day. Awesome bands and talanted wakeboarders.

Some friends run Valdosta Wake Compound here in Georgia, one of the wakeskate tour stops was there this year, it was pretty amazing too.
