Betel leaf occupies an important role in Aceh's life cycle system. If there are official occasions, such as weddings, betel leaves as a mandatory food and can be inlaid.

Daun sirih menempati peranan yang cukup penting dalam sistem daur hidup masyarakat Aceh. Jika ada acara-acara resmi, seperti pernikahan, daun sirih seolah menjadi makanan wajib dan bisa di hias.
