While visiting IKEA in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania this past Saturday, we ran into a couple of Swedish Meatballs dishing out some musical entertainment near the IKEA cafeteria.
And, yes, my wife and I did stop to have some of IKEA's Swedish meatballs!
While not exactly a 5★ gourmet restaurant, we each had the $5.99 Swedish Meatball plate and I got a piece of their delicious chocolate cake. All-in-all, not a bad lunch for about $15 USD!

IKEA is a cool company, we have one here in Southeast Michigan. Although I never had their Swedish meatballs...will have to try next time I’m there.

Wow, it looks very cool @cognoscere, I really like a place like it. it is suitable for our place to relax. I see meatballs, but it looks like dry food because there is no soup. in place I meatballs was presented with soup and noodles. is in your place the different. Thank for sharing... :)

OK this post really resonates with me. You see.... I remember when IKEA first came here.
Everybody was really excited to check it out. Everybody was also really excited to check out the Swedish meatballs.
We walked around and looked at all the different furniture and beds and chairs and various knick-knacks and everybody got lost....... but we eventually made our way to the food court.
We bought a bunch of their Swedish meatballs but I couldn't help but feel extremely disappointed by them. They don't really taste any different than the meatballs you can get in a standard TV dinner that you pay like a dollar for.
I really like Swedish meatballs........ and I didn't dislike their meatballs either..... but they weren't everything we were all excited for.
I guess we just got too hyped up about it.

In high school, our journalism class went to a little conference in another town. On the way home, our schoolbus stopped in Lindsborg, KS, a Swedish town. Our teachers took us into a Swedish restaurant for dinner, where there was a buffet. We ended up leaving without ordering. Because some of the teachers and students thought the Swedish meatballs were too weird. We went to a hamburger place instead. That true story encapsulates the place I grew up. Swedish meatballs were just too weird! :O
