Hello everyone,
Its been month upon months that I have been trying all my possible best to breed this particular rabbit breed which was very difficult for me, what I meant is this, I bred this rabbit last three months ago and since then it hasn't conceived until this month. I was so happy although I did what I learnt from my University days which was a method to know if a female rabbit has taken in (Pregnancy) when I crossed it Last month God so good to me, I felt it when it was 10th day after the mating with my Big Male Chinchilla breed. I bought this particular male purposely for this mission because I didn't have an active male like before so I went into search, I found out the new farm around my area, on my first visitation to the farm I bought the male rabbit although I saw the pictures online as well I saw how big it was.
- After my 1St Cross with this female rabbit the outcome was amazingly amazing. How? It crossed close to 5 times per day because I always stood by whenever I want to mate any female rabbit. So it came to pass, and finally I got it offspring few weeks ago. It was back to back seven cute babies again.
Please, check it out here below👇although no video for this. Please pardon me on this.
Here is just little white cute bunnies fresh and awesome. I intended to make a quick snapshot with this, though the mother is very good in caring, the mother is New Zealand white.
This is the caring mother rabbit. It took me many mating trial before I later succeeded with cute seven bunnies.
Here are the new bunnies doing great and awesome in the klindling box. (Waste Plastic box)
- THERE ARE SOME QUESTIONS TO BE ASKED
HOW DO YOU BREED RABBIT?
- With what I know, a rabbit may normally start breeding at the age of 6 months for the small to medium size breeds and 8 to 9 months for the heavy breeds. Yes, this is very true, because I had one rabbit then, it successful bred at the age of 7 months but she wasted all the new offspring, they died. The gestation period (time between breeding and kindling) is 31 days, while in some other rabbit breed it's 28-30 days. After the doe has kindled, I normally re-breed her at 6 weeks and wean the litter at 5-7 weeks this is for some of my big rabbit breed. But for my small rabbit breed I normally re-breed after 4 weeks .
HOW FAST CAN YOUR RABBIT RE-BREED?
Normally ,rabbits gestation period is for only 30 days, and usually have litters of between 4 and 12 babies (kits), depending on the breed, say small, medium and big breeds. Once the babies are born, the doe can mate and get pregnant again as soon as the following day. This is the practice I do sometimes when I have great customers waiting for me for new fresh Rabbit babies.
