Ledger has continuously been updating its software and now supports a mobile application that still interacts with your hardware device making it one of the most secure mobile apps for crypto. This new implementation by the Ledger Team is innovative because it now allows cryptocurrency users to transact safely on the go. The latest hardware devices are needed to use the mobile application since Bluetooth connects the device without a USB.
Mobile wallets allow investors and enthusiasts to send money extremely fast with QR code enabled payment addresses. Typically, if you lose your phone, you would be susceptible to hacks, as the fraudster could take your phone and send the funds on your wallet to his. So, if you lose your phone with a traditional mobile wallet, you will need to use your recovery phrase on another wallet and then send the coins off to an additional wallet. This process is unneeded as we now have the Ledger mobile wallet, which works like the Ledger Live application on PC. Users won’t be able to send off money unless the hardware device associated with the account is present, so hackers won’t be able to steal your funds with just your phone.

Conclusion
Ledger is always adapting to the new wave of cryptocurrency investors and enthusiasts; however, their number one priority is security. We may see hundreds of different wallets rush to mobile. However, Ledger has taken a plan to make sure that the wallet is as 100% secure as their desktop applications. Ledger Lives mobile application does not store your private key on your phone, nor does it share the private key over the internet, making it the most secure mobile application on the market.
