Water is the active creator of our planet, one of its main "building materials".
Billions of years ago, in a cold gas-dust cloud, eventually thickened, condensed and became the Earth, water was already contained. Most likely, it was in the form of ice dust. This is confirmed by the study of the universe. It has been established that the initial elements for the formation of water - hydrogen and oxygen - belong to the six most abundant substances of the cosmos in our Galaxy.
Clusters of water molecules and hydroxide radicals are found outside the solar system. Clouds composed of water molecules were found in the constellations of Cassiopeia and Orion. The dimensions of the clouds are colossal - their extent is 40 times higher than the distance from the Sun to the Earth. Cases of the fall of the remains of cometary nuclei - "messengers" of distant worlds are not uncommon. Most often they are giant blocks of ice, frozen with methane, ammonia and mineral particles. The weight of ice blocks reaching the Earth can reach hundreds of kilograms.
Long-term studies of the geological processes taking place on our planet established that it was water and its constituent elements that played a decisive role in the entire geological history of the Earth. Examining the oxygen content in the composition of the earth's crust, the scientist concluded that huge amounts of water participated in the formation of the proto-earth. In addition, its elements were part of the main components of the original cloud: hydrogen - in the composition of metal hydrides, oxygen - in the composition of oxides.
According to the theory of scientists, the protozoic cloud gradually thickened and self-heating. The source of necessary energy was the processes of radioactive decay and condensation of the primary matter of the planet. From time immemorial, deep physical and chemical processes take place in the bowels of the planet. There are monstrous pressures and temperatures developing; the starting materials undergo complex transformations. As a result, vapor and gaseous compounds are formed, most of them consisting of water or constituent elements.
According to the geochemical model of our planet, the earth's crust, consisting of oxidized rocks, is a kind of oxygen skeleton, and the core of the planet is composed of hydrides of several metals and partly iron carbide. In the zones of the highest pressures and temperatures, mainly hydrogen and hydrocarbons are released. Further from the center of the planet these substances interact with oxidized rocks - water vapor and carbon dioxide are formed. These compounds are constantly allocated to the surface through the vents of volcanoes, through all sorts of ground and underwater cracks and faults of the earth's crust.
