I've been trying to install a Waves Full Node following these instructions but I'm having a problem.
When I run:
waves waves-testnet.json
I'm getting this back:

I found the problem was that Java 7 was installed.
It seems that a default CD install of Ubutu 14 does install Java 7
You need to remove that before installing Java 8
