Did you know that only 29% of women actually like a hairy man? I will tell you what, if you have back hair I can guarantee those remaining 71% will not want anything to do with you or your back. And probably a good portion of the 29% that like it will not like back hair either. That is why most men turn to back waxing to get rid of their unwanted hair. But it does not have to be a painful process.
The right product and the right technique can help cut back on the pain of back waxing quite significantly. So I am going to list a few tips that will keep the pain to a minimum and also increase the time that it takes to grow back.
Now this is really important piece of this article. – Skin should be as dry as you can get it. Oil on the skin can make it more difficult for the wax to stick. This can mean more applications and more waxing.
The hair you are trying to get rid of should be at least a quarter of an inch long in order for the waxing to be most effective. The wax needs to be able to get a good enough grip and stick to the hair to allow it to come out with the most ease.
When you remove the wax the skin should be stretched in the opposite direction, this helps the hair come out easier.
When you are getting waxing done try and relax your muscles as much as you can. This helps in the skin stretching I mentioned above. It is harder to stretch the skin over tense muscles, so just relax if you can. It only hurts for a second or two.
Always apply a treatment like a water based Aloe Vera directly after the waxing to help soothe the skin.
Running a bath and putting in some Epsom salt for you to soak in right after the waxing is a good idea. It creates a sterile condition after the treatment and will help prevent any kind of ingrown hairs.
it is also a good idea to wear loose clothing after waxing to prevent your skin from being irritated.
