I may be wrong, but I don’t think anybody 50-100 years from now is going to say “yeah, that dude Arnault that made all that expensive clothing and accessories was a mogul who changed the world for the better.” Now who knows maybe nobody says that Elon changed the world for the better either 50-100 years from now, I’m not sure what the future holds, but I’d say there is a greater likelihood of it being said about Elon than Arnault.
Note: I’m sure everyone knows this but for those that don’t, their net worth is basically based off of the value of their company’s stock, which could change in a blink, it’s not like Arnault now has $70 billion more in liquid funds than Elon. At the point they’re at, it’s just numbers on a screen that can change very unexpectedly.
