So, people like free. There are many companies offer "FREE" web hosting services. I tried a lot of them, but they are not really good.
Let's take a look at 000webhost.com because they are one of the most popular.
I had a blog, bitcoin faucet, and many projects hosted on 000webhost, They guarantee 99.9% uptime.
The problems are:
- Your website "Sleep" 1 hour a day.
- You have their watermark on your website.
- A website is down 60% of the time, but it needs to be 99.9%.
- It is really slow

Okay, they are not that bad, but there is a reason for that.
What I don't like about this hosting is:
- They suspend your site if you are using too much memory or anything like that.
- They have advertisements on cPanel (VistaPanel).
As I said they are not that bad, because they are using byethost's free reseller hosting program.
Why and when to use free hosting?
It is best to use free hosting just for learning.
Out there, you can find tones of free hostings.
One I personally use is the GitHub pages (pages.github.com).

They are fast, always up... But there are two problems I found.
- You can't have a database
- Anyone can download your website, and use it on their own website.

In my opinion, it is best to use paid hosting. I use one for my cryptocurrency faucet, and the website is faster than on a free hosting.
And also, on paid hostings, you have faster support. That is really important.
