Wedding Speech Poem

My wife and I were discussing,
What would we would cook,
For the Bride and Groom,
If the Special Couple were to come to our house.
It would have to be a special dish,
Maybe some fish,
No; something more Sweet,
Or Spicy, full of Love, Caring, Patience, and Understanding,
If a dish could talk,
I would put in good communication,
Stuffed full of Friendship,
With a garnish of Trust.
But then; we realised,
A dish like this, they would have to cook themselves,
Because only then can you taste,
The ingredients that you have put in.
Before it is served,
A lot like marriage,
You only get out what you put in.
So I look forward to Your Cooking,
One beautiful dish after another,
For each other,
And of course,
For all of us.
