When my husband and I decided to get married, we didn't want the hassle of a traditional wedding. We wanted to go on a vacation and have a wedding at the same time.

At Coco Beach Resort in Ambergris Caye, Belize we were able to tie the knot for about $1000. Ester Carrias was our lovely wedding coordinator and she prepared for us everything from the wedding cake, music, pastor, tiki torches, flowers, champagne and our wedding certificates all for a grand.

All we had to do was stay 2 nights and they coordinated everything for us. We only had to show up for the wedding!

Best time for wedding photography was at 3pm so the sun wouldn't blind us during the ceremony and we could focus on each other and our vows.

Coco beach resort and Ester gave us the most wonderful and stress free wedding experience and I'll definitely go back again to renew our vows in years to come.

My husband and I had a destination wedding in the Bahamas back in 2006. It was stress free and so much more affordable than even the simplest wedding at home. We recommend it to everyone we know who is planning to be be married.

It's the best way to get married when it's fun, memorable, stress free and affordable. Back yard weddings are awesome too.

How did you like Belize? We stopped there on a cruise in 2012, but didn't get to explore much.

We love Belize especially Ambergris Caye, Belmopan and Lamanai Ruins. We didn't spend too much time at Belize City. We particularly loved in Ambergris Caye and took the local chicken buses everywhere. Every one in Belize are nice to us. We avoided going out at night as it was not safe we heard. But during the day, it was ok. There was one Ruin I didn't get to go and it was Xunantunich and that would be our stop the next time we visit again.

Have you been to Roatan, Honduras? That is our favorite.

No I've never been to Honduras but that would be my next adventure together with Costa Rica.
