Hi Steemians...

Today is 1st April , 2018, first weekend in April 2018. This weekend's recipe is home-made Sardines. Issues about parasitic worms found in sardine cans are very disturbing, including me, because my kids like canned sardines. Today I tried to make sardines that tasted like canned sardines. Of course this is more delicious, because the fish used is fresh fish, not use msg and preservatives. The recipe is as follows:



Ingredients :

1 kg of fish, sardines or mackerel
10 cloves of shallot
8 cloves of garlic
15 red chili peppers
5 tomatoes
1 stalk lemongrass
2 bay leaves
Salt
½ Lime

Steps :

Prepare all ingredients, Clean the fish, remove the head and tail, cut into two parts. Add salt and lime juice



Process the garlic, shallots, red pepper and tomatoes in food processor until fairly well blended



Mix the spices with the fish, put in a pressured pan that has been covered with banana leaves. Enter lemongrass and bay leaf. Cook the fish in a pressured pan with low heat for about 1 hour.



Sardines are ready to serve or can be stored in the freezer. If you like, can be sauteed before serving

Hari ini 1 April 2018 , akhir pekan pertama di bulan April 2018. Resep akhir pekan kali ini adalah Sarden buatan rumahan. Adanya isu dan penemuan cacing parasit dalam ikan sarden kaleng sangat meresahkan, termasuk saya, karena anak-anak sangat suka sarden kaleng. Hari ini saya mencoba membuat sarden seperti sarden kalengan. Tentu saja ini lebih enak, karena ikan yang dipakai adalah ikan segar, tidak pakai penyedap dan pengawet. Resepnya adalah sebagai berikut :

Bahan-bahan :

1 kg ikan, boleh ikan sarden, kembung ataupun makarel
10 siung bawang merah
8 siung bawang putih
15 buah cabe merah
5 buah tomat
1 batang serai
2 lembar daun salam
Garam
½ Jeruk Nipis

Cara Membuatnya :

  1. Siapkan semua bahan. Bersihkan ikan, buang kepala dan ekor, potong jadi dua bagian. Beri garam dan perasan jeruk nipis.
  2. Haluskan bawang merah, bawang putih, cabe merah dan tomat.
  3. Aduk bumbu dengan ikan, masukkan dalam panci presto yang telah dialasi dengan daun pisang. Masukkan serai dan daun salam. Masak ikan dalam panci presto dengan api kecil selama kurang lebih 1 jam.
  4. Sarden siap dihidangkan atau bisa disimpan di freezer. Jika suka, dapat ditumis dahulu sebelum dihidangkan.
